Alpha Limousine, San Diego's Finest
My 1st website, and the probably the only reason I ever got interested in web development. Alpha Limousine is my parents' business started in January 2000. I'd been playing video games, and was an avid Napster user at the time so they ask me "Hey, your playing with that thing all the time, can you make a web page and logo for Alpha?". And off we went.
The current version is v4. It's got some flash, not that much but too much for them. I've already got v5 in the works getting rid of all flash navigation. Their biggest problem online these days is Search engines can't find them anymore since launching v4. The spiders don't follow the flash links, and their ranking has dropped dramatically. v5 will include a meta data management tool, no flash (navigation at least, but none at all planned atm), a spider dance notifier for the 1st 6 months to a year. Maybe they'll keep it around longer but it may not be necessary anymore. |
