Holidays just aren't my days
|
well, new years sucked, and now St. Patty's was no picnic either.
This week alone, I've had my wallet/car stolen. Then recovered by the cops (cool, but costs more $). That caused 3-4 days of stress and frustration. I can deal w/ the car being missing, but everybody's f***in opinions on how I should handle it and all that pissed me off. Finally get the car back and have most of the day to relax. Late that same night, a friend calls stranded about 2 hours away, so I figure I wanna drive my car anyway (I missed it), so I hop in and start on my way. Around Temecula area, my tire blows on the freeway =(
No AAA so I'm just sittin on the side of the road waiting for a ride all night, cells dead (thank G** for my iPod)
Have to leave that overnight and return in the morning. I get back up there in the morning and get towed to a tire shop. 1st 2 shops were didn't have a tire that would fit on my car so I ended up being towed all the way to Esco at full price. Cost me 270 bux for the tow, and 120 for the tire. All the more expense I've had to incur because someone wanted to joyride my car for 3 days and completely damage and disrespect it. When I got it out of impound it had a burrito that she (yes I know who took my car) just threw on the floor when she was done, and it got all over the place. Sitting in the hot sun doesn't make meat and guacamole smell good at all.
After I finally get the tire fixed, heading back to Vista and my power steering belt shreds right as I pull into my apt building *F***. This is on St. Patty's too by the way. Other than that I had a pretty good St. Patty's. Some people who were swinging by to make an appearance never showed, but I did get to catch up with Ash, and hang out with Justin Hebie for quite a while.
Recovery time (not from a hangover, but this bad luck has to end. My Karma cannot be that bad *knocks on wood*)
